Bio

Andrew has recently retired from BTO Solicitors in Glasgow where he was a senior partner in the corporate team. He was previously a partner in McClure Naismith, Burness Paull and Levy & McRae.

Andrew specialised in SME corporate transactions and he also advised many well known family companies. He has a keen interest in corporate governance. Andrew’s other field of expertise was sports law where he was ranked in Band One in Chambers Legal Directory. He acted for the Scottish FA in its recent acquisition of Hampden Stadium.

Andrew was educated at the Universities of Glasgow, Amsterdam and Virginia. He served on two Law Society Committees.

Andrew is a keen but very average golfer. He is a past captain of Pollok GC and a member of Royal Troon. He is an enthusiastic fan of Partick Thistle though he does not get to use his season ticket much! When at home, his Sonos system is cranked up - Noel Gallagher, Leftfield, Pete Tong and Chris Stapleton are his current favourites.

Andrew is married and lives in Whitecraigs in Glasgow. He has two grown up children in London .
