The firm has became one of the kit sponsors for Girvan FC. The two-year deal, covering seasons 2021/22 and 2022/23, will see The McKinstry Company logo on the back of the Home strip and on the front of the Away kit, as well as being displayed on the club’s tracksuits, training kits and rain jackets.
The kit will be worn in all the club's West of Scotland League, Scottish FA Cup, South of Scotland Cup and friendly matches.
The McKinstry Company was delighted to be a sponsor of the Worldwide Cancer Research fundraiser in memory of Kevin Williamson on Friday 13th August. A wonderful lunch at was held at Trump Turnberry which included a Q&A session with rugby legend David Sole, which was followed by the “The Young Pretenders” taking on “the Veterans” for the “Kevin Williamson Cup” at Millbrae.
Our very own Colin Duck played for “The Veterans” who secured a last-minute victory… with a bit of assistance from the referee. It was a great day out for a very worthwhile cause.
Orkney Drugs Dog aim to contribute to the reduction of the supply of controlled substances coming in to Orkney by the provision of trained drugs dogs, helping to prevent access to harmful substances for the health benefit of the people of Orkney and neighbouring local authority areas.
The McKinstry Company ran a free Wills promotion with a £50 donation to the Orkney Drugs Dog over the months of June and July. Raising a total of X getting the charity closer to funding another pup.
