Elaine qualified as a solicitor in 2000, beginning her career in a high street legal practice in Cardiff. She later attended RAF College Cranwell, qualifying as a RAF Legal Officer and providing legal advice and assistance to Commanders and service personnel across the UK, Germany and Cyprus on a wide range of legal matters.
After relocating from Germany to Scotland, she successfully completed the intra-UK transfer test, qualifying as a Solicitor in Scottish Law. Elaine took a career hiatus following the arrival of her third child, dedicating her time to charitable and third sector work before joining her husband in his local business.
Elaine has recently returned to legal practice and brings a wealth of legal experience to her role, offering empathetic and tailored Private Client advice from the Girvan office. Her extensive background allows her to address clients’ unique needs with understanding and expertise, providing support and guidance on a range of personal legal matters.
Outside of work, Elaine is actively involved in the community, serving as Treasurer of her children’s Parent Council and managing the family’s busy schedule. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking the hills around Galloway Forest Park with her three dogs and baking for local fundraisers, tray-bakes and cakes a favourite!
