Bio

In 1999, Karen decided to take a career break to focus on her family. After raising four children, she returned to The McKinstry Company in March 2022, eager to re-engage with her passion for law.

Now, Karen works alongside Robert and Colin in the Civil Litigation Department, covering all aspects of civil litigation. Her areas of expertise include personal injury, medical negligence, professional negligence, employment law, debt recovery, and contractual disputes.

Having trained and worked under the watchful eye of Graeme McKinstry for many years, Karen has ingrained the principle that "people are our business" into every aspect of her work. She recognises the importance of understanding each client's individual needs and emphasises communication and empathy in her practice.

Outside of her professional life, Karen enjoys spending quality time with her family, walking on the beach, and is an avid reader. She also loves visiting interior design shops in Copenhagen, combining her passion for design with travel.
