Kirsty joined the McKinstry Company in 2016 having trained and worked in two long established Ayrshire firms before joining us.
Kirsty was promoted to Partner and head of our Property department in 2023.
Kirsty acts for a broad range of clients, including individuals, farmers, landlords, tenants, developers and local businesses. With her knowledge of the local market Kirsty is proficient at negotiating on behalf of clients. She is highly experienced in a wide range of property work, working with clients selling and buying their new homes; acquiring property for development and thereafter selling off plots; and selling and purchasing agricultural property. Kirsty regularly acts for both landlords and tenants in preparation of commercial leases. Kirsty is highly experienced in all aspects of purchase and sale of commercial premises for both individual clients and investors.
When not in work Kirsty can be found spending time with her family, including her cocker spaniel and horse. It would not be unusual to find Kirsty running after her toddler, Cameron, at soft play or rugby tots!
