So where are we now, I can tell you I have drank the Champagne and have actually started work, as a Conveyancing Paralegal. WOW.
Having enjoyed my Paralegal celebrations it was now time to turn my attention to further enhancing my Paralegal status, by completing my Accreditation Year......gosh!
I was reminded of a statement made by past American President, Theodore Roosevelt, “It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.” I knew that TMC would support me and provide all the help I would need to complete this important year of my legal development.
I’m not going to say it was plain sailing as I worked through the various additional skills required to become an Accredited Conveyancing Paralegal.
One to one with clients was something I was looking forward to, as I really enjoy providing positive and clear details for clients embarking on something as big as a house purchase.
Now that I’ve completed my Accreditation year, it’s time to put my training into practice and I can’t thank all at The McKinstry Company enough for taking me on what has been a terrific journey, especially as a mature student and one who will be getting her bus pass next year.
I now speak to clients on all matters conveyancing and it is really great when the transaction is complete and clients are so pleased when they get the keys to their new home and onwards to a new journey for them. It’s very satisfying for me as part of the team at The McKinstry Company and, in the knowledge I can make a greater contribution by developing my own skills and upholding the firm’s name, as A LAW FIRM FOR LIFE.
