The McKinstry Company are delighted to announce the promotion of Colin Duck, Katie Russell & Nathaniel Alexander to Associate.

Colin joined the firm in 2018 and is a key member of our litigation team. He specialises in family law, debt recovery and tenancy disputes. Family law is a particular interest and Colin regularly advises clients on all aspects of this area of law including, in particular, separation, divorce, cohabitation, contact with children, adoption and pre-nuptial agreements. On his recent promotion Colin said;

Katie is a key member of our Property Team, dealing primarily with residential conveyancing transactions, consisting of property sales and purchases, part-exchanges, remortgages, general security work, transfers of title and residential leasing. Katie has been praised for her clear guidance and advice during a time that can be very stressful for clients and she thrives on making sure that her clients experience a seamless transaction from start to finish

Nathaniel’s expertise covers all types of conveyancing and property work for both residential and commercial property, acting for individuals, companies and lenders. He follows the Ayrshire property market closely, allowing him to provide constructive and relevant advice for all types of property transactions. Nathaniel also fulfils the role of the firm’s ‘Wellness Ambassador’. This role was created to help encourage mindfulness, positivity and mental health awareness within the firm and to provide the correct support for staff whoever may need it.
